Photos of DLR are picture perfect

Travelling on the DLR with your head in a book it's sometimes too easy to ignore the sights en route to the office.
However, as this photo shows, it not only offers a key transport link to Canary Wharf but also some spectacular views.
This week, the DLR announced the winners of its photography competition.
Top in the 16 and over category came Luke Agbaimoni of Catford for capturing East India station in wintry magic.
Luke, who won an Olympus camera for his shot, said: "Because I commute on the DLR and work near a London dock, I have been lucky to capture some special moments.

"This shot is one of my favourites taken. The sun was setting on a snowy afternoon, as a train approaches East India station."
Runner up in the competition, held jointly between DLR, Olympus and website
Snapfish, came Chris Mansfield with a photo of the Woolwich Ferry, The O2 and the Thames Barrier, while third came Brad Clark and a shot of Pontoon Dock.
The under 16s winner was 12-year-old Harvey Dimond from Gillingham in Dorset for his image of Tower Bridge taken while on a school trip to the capital.
Speaking about the competition, Serco Docklands' head of marketing and communications Sarah Allen said: "There is so much happening around the DLR network and it is an area with real personality."
