The 2-1 win pushed the Lions up to fifth in the table and fuelled their hopes of at least a play-off position at the end of the season.

But skipper Robinson knows Millwall need to start producing good performances against the division's lesser lights -starting with Exeter City tomorrow to keep the promotion dream alive.

He said: "They are the games where we seem to slip up. It'll be a week of hard work, making sure our focus doesn't slip, because three points against Norwich won't mean anything if we don't back it up next Saturday.

"The focus has got to be take nothing for granted, to go and beat Exeter and make home advantage count."

Record scorer Neil Harris came off the bench to head the winner against the Canaries to make it four wins on the trot for the Lions. Robinson feels it will have the other promotion chasing sides looking anxiously around them.

He said: "It was a great win and it sends out a message to everybody else. We've had a good run, winning our last four and long may it continue.

"Norwich are an excellent team and are in their rightful position in the league at the moment, but we seem to do well against the big teams here, and the atmosphere the fans created was fantastic so I'm delighted."

Robinson, 28, signed a new contract keeping him at The Den until 2013 and the long-serving centre-back was delighted to commit his future to the club.

He said: "Its everything. I feel settled now. It does linger at the back of your mind and it's nice to put all that to one side. All I'm concentrating on doing now is my best for Millwall and driving us forward.

"It could be Championship football next season. That's the target we all want, what we're all striving for. We'll keep working hard and hopefully it will happen."
