Ash Wednesday on the Wharf

Two Christian events will be held at Canary Wharf next Wednesday to celebrate the beginning of Lent.
Both a lunchtime service at the prayer room in Churchill Mall and an early evening Roman Catholic mass at Barclays with the Archbishop of Westminster will take place.
The lunchtime service will begin at 1pm on Ash Wednesday with no pre-registration needed,
The event at Barclays headquarters in One Churchill Place will begin at 5.30pm.
It is the biggest event on the Canary Wharf Catholic calendar, with around 500 people expected to attend to celebrate the start of Lent.
Archbishop Vincent Nichols will be present.
Non-Catholics are also welcome. Registration is required for entry.
