Aerosmith announce O2 gig
American rock legends Aerosmith have confirmed they will play a date at The O2 this summer.
The veteran band, led by singer Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry, will play the arena on Tuesday, June 15, as part of their first European tour for three years.
Famous for tracks like Love In An Elevator and I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, Aerosmith have sold over 150million albums in a 40 year career. They were in typically ebullient mood when they made the announcement today.
Tyler said: "We're back by popular demand, with more spit and fire than ever before. We're coming across the pond and parting the waters as we go."
Perry added: "Aerosmith is going to be rocking in the UK and Europe this summer. Enough BS, we're coming and everything is going to be set at 11."
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 4, from theo2.co.uk.
