Whatever your taste in entertainment, there is plenty to look forward to in the coming months. To make it that little bit easier, we have dug out a few of the highlights for you.


First up - they opened The O2 arena in 2007 and this summer the New Jersey rock gods are back for more. But this time Bon Jovi are sticking around. Touring on the back of new album The Circle, the band who refuse to grow old gracefully, begin their residency on June 7.

More readily associated with hit sitcoms The Young Ones and Bottom, it is a lesser known fact that Adrian Edmondson has appeared on stage with Bad News, The Who and The Bonzo Dog Doh-Dah Band. In March he is bringing his own band, The Bad Shepherds to the East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf. Daughter Ella Edmondson, a folk pop starlet in her own right and a name to look out for in for in 2010, provides support.

All round broadcasting legend and funny man Arthur Smith is appearing at Greenwich Theatre on April 30. A regular panellist on Have I Got News For You and QI, he is also an Olivier nominated playwright and recently published his memoirs.

Avant-garde linchpin and celebrated Dutch artist Theo Van Doesburg is celebrated in a new exhibition at Tate Modern. Constructing A New World explores the impact of art on society post the First World War. The show opens in February and includes over 350 works by artists associated with the movement, many of which previously unseen in the UK.

A tale of life, love, money and jealousy is retold in a brand new adaptation of Chekov's The Seagull. Bottled Spider Productions bring their show to the stage at The Space from January 26.

I think they are growing old very gracefully.
When you look @ some other rock stars, you wonder why are they wearing the same styles from 30 years ago? Not so for the boys from Jersey.
