Preview: Millwall v Southampton

It's going to be an intriguing test for Millwall this weekend, as Southampton roll into the Den.
Following their cup exit in the week, Millwall face a side who have worked hard to shake off the crutch of a ten-point deduction, but still need some points to stop them from wobbling.
Millwall have won four of their last six home games, including the 2-0 victory over Bristol Rovers in their last league game just after Christmas. They'll also be welcoming back Liam Trotter, who has returned to the club on loan from Ispwich.
Southampton have also won four of six away from home, but they'll be looking to spring back from the 2-1 loss at Colchester and surge into the playoff picture. Were it not for their 10-point deduction, the Saints would be two points clear of Millwall on 38 and ahead of sixth-placed Swindon on goal difference. Rickie Lambert's 17-goal haul in the league so far has helped the side to a +13 goal difference, which is the envy of the other sides outside the top five.
While the Saints will have new signings Jose Fonte, Dan Seaborne and Jon Otsemobor available in defence, there's no Radhi Jaidi and Graeme Murty. Andy Frampton and Tony Craig will face fitness tests for the Lions.
With both sides eyeing up a playoff place, this result could be crucial after the FA Cup third round break. Prediction: 1-1
