Preview: Charlton v Tranmere

charltonbadge.jpgKyel Reid will be in the squad for Charlton when they meet Tranmere Rovers tomorrow.

The former West Ham winger joined the Addicks on loan from Sheffield United this week and is in contention as Charlton look to bounce back straight away from Monday's shock home defeat by Leyton Orient.

Reid, 23, found it hard to get regular games at Bramall Lane after moving north from West Ham last summer and he hopes to play his part in helping Phil Parkinson's side climb back into the Championship.

He said: "I'm very happy to be here and I'm pleased Phil Parkinson has given me this opportunity.

"This is a big club which is trying to get back where it belongs and hopefully I can do my bit."

But Reid is likely to be on the bench as Parkinson seeks to let those who played in the Orient defeat make amends for the result and maintain the League One promotion push.

Sam Sodje will also be in the squad as he returns from a four match suspension.

But Kelly Youga is still sidelined with a knee injury.

Charlton will be holding a tribute to all those connected to the club who have died in the last year before tomorrow's game, and urge fans to arrive early to get involved.
