aa-jan14-byron1.JPGCanada Square is set to get a little more hip when jeans giant Levi Strauss opens a store in the mall.

The iconic jeans brand is set to take over the premises vacated by Oasis when it moved its store to Jubilee Place mall before Christmas. It should be selling its 501s sometime in the spring.

Meanwhile the Byron burger restaurant and a new Nando's outlet will be opening their doors in Cabot Place to customers in April.

Byron's, part of the group that owns Pizza Express, specialises in high-quality hamburgers, while peri-peri chicken joint Nando's is taking the opportunity to expand it's presence in Canary Wharf, already operating a successful restaurant in Jubilee Place mall.

Both restaurants will occupy the former Chilli's site, which has been vacant since the Tex-Mex chain went into administration last June.
