Knifepoint robbery near Poplar DLR stop

A DLR passenger was robbed at knifepoint by two men as he was leaving Poplar station.
The 37-year-old white male was making his way down the stairs at Castor Lane when he saw two males aged around 18 loitering at the bottom.
The man in the silver jacket held a kitchen knife in front of him and demanded his mobile. Having been given the phone, the robber joined the other suspect, who was wearing a black top, and the pair walked off west along Castor Road before heading north towards Poplar High Street.
