Cannabis found in Roffey Street raid

A quantity of cannabis was discovered by officers in Roffey Street last week.
Blackwall and Cubitt Town Safer Neighbourhoods team raided the premises on January 6, and a 26-year-old was arrested for cannabis possession.
The raid was funded by the Partnership, which includes Tower Hamlets Council, and the warrant was issued under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
PS Tony Burton said: "The team are committed to working with our partners to tackle any drug issues on our ward. This is a new year and this raid is just the beginning of our efforts to prevent and detect drug activity. We would urge anyone to contact us with any information regarding drugs."
* Javan St Prix, of Roffey Street, was charged with possession of cannabis on January 6. He was released on police bail to attend Thames Magistrates Court on February 2.
