Gabriel and Rihanna announce O2 shows
Music fans can look forward to sledgehammers and umbrellas at The O2 as two major artists announced shows at the venue.
Former Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel and r'n'b sensation Rihanna have both confirmed they will play the arena next year.
Gabriel has had numerous hits, including 1986 smash Sledgehammer, in a career spanning almost 40 years. He will perform at the arena on March 27.
The influential singer will perform his new album Scratch My Back, which features orchestral interpretations of songs by Radiohead, David Bowie and Neil Young among others.
Rihanna, who scored a worlwide number one in 2007 with Umbrella, will headline the venue on May 10. It will be her only London date on her 2010 tour.
