It's been over half a century since Bristol Rovers won at The Valley.

But with the insightful knowledge of former boss Lennie Lawrence, coupled with that of Chris Dickson, the Pirates will be hoping tonight is the night.

Lawrence will be returning to the dugout in SE7 - or the directors' box depending where directors of football like to sit these days - but Dickson is unavailable under the terms of his loan deal.

For Charlton, Sam Sodje is suspended following his red card at Yeovil. Leggy Spaniard Miguel Llera will deputise.

Meanwhile, shirt tossing Izale McLeod remains suspended under a three match ban received for a stray elbow at Northwich Victoria.

Boss Phil Parkinson must choose whether to keep David Mooney up front or start the hero from Yeovil Akpo Sodje in his place.

Rovers' famous fan: Lord Archer.

Kick off: 7.45pm at The Valley
