Preview: Charlton v Huddersfield

Doom. It's all doom at The Valley. Charlton have now gone one game at home without scoring and the oracle that is Kelvin MacKenzie is calling for the head of manager Phil Parkinson.
Four-four-one-one? Four-five-one? Four-four-two? "Whatever it is Parky, change it", cry the Addicks fans from the Upper West. "It's not working."
Yes, things have never been darker for second placed Charlton.
No matter that the side have lost just once in 12 games.
No matter, also, Charlton were a lick of paint away or an Izale McLeod slice away from beating Oldham. No these are dark times for the financially solvent club.
In Izzy's defence regarding smashing thin air into the top corner of the Oldham goal rather than the ball, he was reeling from some unwanted advances in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at home to Barnet (below).

On Saturday, Parky has some big choices to make for the clash with 'Uddersfield. Will fit again Jose Semedo replace the on-form Matt Spring?
Will Leon McKenzie start up front instead of Deon Burton? Who knows.
Will there be tutting and head-shaking in the Upper West even if Charlton win 8-0? Of course.
Kick off: 3pm
