More restaurants for the Wharf

Four new food outlets have been announced this week coming quickly on the back of the opening of Park Pavilion.
Battery and Tompkins (pictured) are both run by Inc Group, Havez offers a Mediterranean flavour and the fourth newcomer - Tortilla - provides a Mexican rival to Wahaca.
Battery has been unveiled as the long-awaited replacement for Ubon.
The Japanese restaurant run by Nobu was based at Westferry Circus but closed a year ago and the premises have lain dormant ever since.
Now Battery, a restaurant by hospitality company Inc Group, has been announced as taking over the venue next to the Four Seasons Hotel and will open in early December.
A spokeswoman for Inc Group said: "Battery is the epitome of understated chic with its floor to ceiling glass walls on three sides.
"Menu options feature a range of delicious modern European fare together with an extensive wine list."
She said it would offer spectacular panoramic views across the City and Docklands.
Named after the area in Manhattan, it will also boast a private members' bar on the third floor called the Battery Club.
Battery follows Greenwich-based Inc Group's first venture in Docklands, which was The Attic bar in the Pan Peninsula development.
- However, another venue will soon follow when Tompkins opens next to The Attic at the Docklands apartments in March.
Designed as a traditional New York brasserie, the stylish location will offer "contemporary cuisine" and be open to residents and guests.
The Inc Group's spokeswoman said the restaurant would have "stunning Argentinean reclaimed eucalyptus wood brick flooring, generous use of highly polished marble and three bespoke Tom Dixon chadeliers".
She added Tompkins also featured a glass staircase that led to the cocktail mezzanine bar with Florence Knoll sofas, while a waterside terrace will allow for 150 extra covers.
- California-Mexican burrito joint Tortilla will bring "credit crunch" food to Docklands when it opens at Canary Wharf DLR station in November.
The "on-the-go" menu offers customers a choice between burritos, tacos, fajitas or salad, as well as main fillings of freshly grilled steak, pork, chicken or a vegetarian option, all made fresh.
The chain already has venues in Islington and Southwark.
Tortilla managing director Brandon Stephens said: "We've found Tortilla is the perfect option for the credit crunch - an inexpensively priced and tasty alternative to the usual sandwiches, but just as suitable for a takeaway."
Meals at Tortilla cost about £5. The Canary Wharf store will open a month before the chain's fourth venue launches in Oxford Circus.
- Turkish restaurant Hazev is hoping to open its doors in time for the Christmas rush and is currently taking bookings for its Mediterranean deli offerings. It is located at Discovery Dock in South Quay.
