Minor Jubilee delays due to gun scare

An earlier gun scare on the Jubilee Line is causing minor delays to the service this afternoon.
British Transport Police were called at 2.47pm after two passengers claimed they were threatened by a man with a firearm between West Ham and Canning Town stations.
A spokesman said: "BTP can confirm that a man was arrested by police at Canning Town LU station at around 3.15pm for a public order offence, today.
"This follows an incident reported to police at 2.47pm during which members of the public were threatened by a man who claimed to be in possession of a firearm on a Jubilee line train between West Ham and Canning Town.
"The man has been searched and no firearm has been found.
"The man has been taken into custody for questioning and police are conducting further searches at the station and on the train."
