Will Gary Alexander be celebrating a goal against his former club this weekend?

There may not be any Adebayor-style slides if the former Leyton Orient striker nets at Brisbane Road, but the Lions will be glad to get a run going after their mixed start to 2009/10.

Alexander returned to training on Thursday after missing the 3-1 win against Huddersfield, and will be hoping to push Millwall to their first away win of the season against the side from down the road.

The Lions sit in tenth place after eight games with a goal difference of zero, and will have to crank their play up a gear to keep pace with the playoff challengers. Huddersfield currently sit in the last playoff spot with 14 points, but Leeds and Charlton are off to flyers with 22 and 20 points respectively.

Injuries have blighted Millwall's start, and Jason Price, Tony Craig, Ashley Grimes, Zak Whitbread, Paul Robinson, Danny Senda and Pat O'Connor won't be available this weekend. However, Chris Hackett should have recovered from cramp by 3pm.
