Preview: Charlton v Exeter
Welcome to League One. Last weekend's visit to Norwich was more like a bad, drunken night out than a football match.
A punch-up, a couple of broken bones and then waking up to find your wallet - or in this case a couple of points - missing, it's left Phil Parkinson an angry man.
While the Football Association investigated the half-time tunnel fracas at Norwich - which Parky termed a 'slight disagreement' or a 'storm in a teacup' - the Charlton boss was lining up some verbal volleys at Gillingham chairman Paul Scally.
Scally's whingeing over Charlton not sending Chris Dickson to help their Kent cousins, was swatted away by Parky who retorted the Gills still owed money for borrowing Josh Wright last season.
Meanwhile, Parky's henchman Deon Burton was sat with a wet sponge on his face.
"Deon broke his nose in the (Norwich) game but fortunately for us our head physio Steve Allen clicked it back into place straight away," said Parky, sounding a bit Lock Stock.
For the team news, Frazer Richardson, Jose Semedo and Nicky Bailey have all missed training this week and could be left out of the starting eleven.
Fifteenth place Exeter, who should probably keep their mitts up against the lean-mean Addicks fighting machine, will not be allowed to play Stuart Fleetwood, who is on-loan from Charlton.
