Men's Fashion

Andrew Young runs Quo Vadis Styling, a fashion advice service for men who live and work around Canary Wharf.
In the second of three columns on male clothing, he discusses what shoes, shirts and accessories will make you a Wharf fashion icon this autumn.
SHOES
"Pointy shoes look fashionable but may really be just for a Saturday night. Don't go too pointy for work. You also shouldn't go for leather that is too fashionable, such as the distressed look.
"Round toe shoes are coming back in fashion particularly for taller men with large feet. Pointy shoes can often look big and clown-like so round toes will soften that. Oxford shoes and two-tone leather look good.
"With brown shoes you need a brown belt. Possibly even a brown bag. Brown shoes go well with brown suits but make sure it's a different shade. They also go well with navy suits and grey ones, but not black."
SHIRTS
"Slim fitting for men that can wear them. Make sure you don't wear a shirt that clashes with the tie, and a double cuff with cufflinks works well.
"Also you can wear jumpers with shirts or T-shirts under. Just don't have nothing underneath because it won't hang well.
"For T-shirts don't be afraid to try something different, especially for a Saturday night. Go for something sparkly. Don't be scared."
ACCESSORIES
"Invest in a really nice briefcase, like an old fashioned attache. A messenger bag is fine but maybe invest in something leather.
"You could spend up to £200 on it but then you will probably use it every day so it makes sense to spend a fair bit.
"For watches, a lot of men spend more than a family car on them. A black or brown leather strap works well with jeans."
