Rush hour tube travel was suspended for more than 20 minutes this morning after an eastbound train limped into North Greenwich station.

No Jubilee line trains were in operation between London Bridge and Stratford from 9.20am to 9.44am while engineers resolved the problem, and delays are still occurring in both directions.

A Transport for London spokeswoman confirmed that part of the train was in line with the station platform when it stopped, and that passengers were able disembark at North Greenwich.

She said: "It was just coming into North Greenwich station when it stopped, and it took about 20 minutes to resolve the problem."
