REVIEW
You cannot leave the house these days without a book telling you what not to do, but do we really need a book to tell us how to navigate the world of online dating?
Or is it more that we want Georgia Barlow's guide to reassure us it's OK to seek the man of your dreams while eating a meal for one, at home, in your dressing gown.
Georgia takes the cyber dating novice firmly by the hand and dispels the myths, quashes the stigmas and decodes the enigmas.
From the significance of your username (steer clear of sexy unless you want to bag a pervert) to post-date paranoia, she has it covered.
She warns to steer clear if your prospective man is pictured "wearing some form of novelty hat on his head, or has vomit on his top", which is a shame as I thought he sounded quite a catch.
Aside from the technicalities, the rules of internet dating seem not so different from the old fashioned route.
With this book in your handbag, chances are you will not have long to wait before updating your facebook status to "in a relationship".
Just make sure you check the online etiquette on that one first.
