After diddling tape recorders in his bedroom as a teenager, stints on pirate radio stations and eventually making the jump to Kiss FM, DJ EZ has become if not a household name, then certainly a mainstream figure.

During the garage boom of the '90s his voice became a regular feature on the telly advertising a seemingly endless stream of compilation albums all "mixed live by me' self DJ EZ".

A regular on the club scene he's still pulling in the crowds and tickets are likely to fly off the shelves for this eight-hour marathon mix in North Greenwich.

MUSIC
Mozart Gala, The Space

DD-jun25-MozartWEB.jpg

Singers from Trinity College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music join forces with Space regulars The Blossom Street Singers for an evening dedicated to the music of Mozart.

The performance will include extracts from Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) and Exsultate Jubilate a solo motet originally written for the castrato Venanzio Rauzzini.

While it's unlikely any of the male musicians attending are prepared to pay the ultimate price to enable you to hear this piece as Amadeus intended, the sopranao should be a more than adequate replacement.

TALK
Michael Palin, The Indigo2

dd-jun25-PalinWEB.jpg

Pole to Pole, round the pacific circle, across the Sahara, up and down the Himalayas - there aren't many places Michael Palin hasn't been.

And for one night only he's off to North Greenwich.

The former Python is appearing at the Indigo2 with the promise of opening up his huge suitcase of memories and letting the contents spill willy nilly all over his audience.

And there should be plenty of entertainment as the "nice" man of comedy's biography reveals a career spent producing some of the finest material with some of the most talented people in showbusiness.

EXHIBITION
The House Of Fairy Tales, Window Galleries

DD-jun25-FAiryWEB.jpg

Established by Deborah Curtis and Gavin Turk, The House Of Fairy Tales describes itself as a child-centred artist led project aimed at creating magical worlds where learning is play.

In simple language this seems to mean creating fantastic online games involving balloons, wind, scissors and string and touring around in a caravan playing to audiences at venues such as Tate Modern.

No specific details have been released about what they are going to shove in the Window Galleries, however having been to their website it's likely to be more than a little surreal. Enjoy the madness.

Canary Wharf shopping malls, June 28-July 31, FREE, mycanarywharf.com, DLR/Jubilee: Canary Wharf
