North Greenwich will rock to the sound of a band who are a bit like Marmite.
Singer Caleb Followill's voice is harsh, sharp and either lulls you into a state of musical euphoria or grates on your mind like a steel file on your teeth.
Still there's no denying they have staying power. Having got over the difficult second and third albums, the Kings stormed in with a fourth last year and took the charts by storm.
This is a group that has well and truly graduated to the big stage this year after a long time in waiting.

MUSIC
Moby, Matter

If you're wondering why you're considering heading out to hear a man named after Captain Ahab's white whale, reportedly Richard Hall is the great-great-great nephew of Moby Dick author Herman Melville.
The Harlem-born multi-instrumentalist and DJ quietly rose to fame in the '90s, peaking with hit album Play.
Since then he's continued to enjoy a steady stream of successes with follow-ups 18, Hotel and Last Night.
He hits Matter this week to perform a rare DJ set. Expect a range of sounds including some from new album Wait For Me.

STAGE
Shaolin Warriors, Hackney Empire

The idea of travelling to Hackney to watch weapon-wielding individuals do battle conjures up a fairly unappealing image.
But in this case the warriors are of the Buddhist monk variety and the fighting is all carefully choreographed.
In a show which has now been seen by more than 500,000 people worldwide, the Shaolin monks perform a blistering array of death-defying stunts and fight with 18 types of traditional weapon.
Aside from the displays of timing and skill, the show also depicts the monks' training and meditation.

STAGE
Three Men In A Boat, Greenwich Theatre

Originally intended as a serious travel guide, Jerome K Jerome's tale was overtaken by the many comic events he and his friends encountered on their trip up the Thames from Kingston to Oxford.
This fresh stage adaptation aims to offer audiences the chance to relax in a lazy chunk of Victorian England, sculling down the river with narrator J, George and Harris, not to mention canine companion Montmorency.
Often hailed as one of the funniest books in the English language, there should be plenty of laughs here as the trio tackle stew, songs and a tin of pineapple.
June 16-20, various times, £15-£17.50, 020 8858 7755, greenwichtheatre.org.uk, DLR: Greenwich
