REVIEW
Fruit liqueurs have a long history. They were originally conceived as a means of preserving the perishable bounty of a seasonal harvest. The art of making liqueurs itself came from Monastic orders who used them medicinally.

Bramley & Gage has been making fruit liqueurs for over 20 years with the emphasis on producing a high quality product made from locally sourced fruit from the West Country.

The company only uses whole fruit, no pulps or concentrates, and there are no added colourings or preservatives.

Each bottle is packed full with as much of the natural flavour and freshness of the fruit as possible, along with a large amount of the fruit's natural vitamins.

Health benefits may be in doubt, but what is not in question is the pleasure such beverages can provide.

This example can be consumed in a wide range of guises (neat chilled, as a Kir with white wine or as a Kir Royale with Champagne or in diverse cocktails). It is also a versatile ingredient in many culinary preparations.
