Mike Tobin scooped this year's Businessperson of the Year award at the Docklands Business Club and East London Chamber of Commerce Business Awards dinner last night.
The TelecityGroup CEO picked up the coveted trophy from Giles Broadbent, editor of award sponsor The Wharf.
Mike was just one of nine winners on the night as the DBC celebrated its 25th anniversary with drinks and dinner at Forman's Fish Island, just across the canal from the future Olympic stadium in Stratford.
Other awards were handed out in categories such as New Business of the Year, Green Business and Business of the Year.
