Grandmaster Flash's Matter London show cancelled
American hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash's gig at Matter in North Greenwich has been cancelled.
The musician was due to perform in the O2 arena club on June 12, but the event has now been scrapped due to a "timing issue".
Organisers have pledged to offer full refunds or tickets for any upcoming show open to the public. Grandmaster Flash previously performed at Matter with Jazzy Jeff and other DJs back in April.
A spokesman for Matter revealed it was "a decision taken by both parties" due to "logistical" problems.
He said: "We wanted to bring him back, but we might try to rearrange it for a later date."
