Circus celebrates Britney's arrival at The O2
Britney Spears is set to be made to feel more at home when she brings her "Circus" tour to The O2 this week.
The venue will play host to an American-style Carnival for the duration of the pop star's stay, which starts this Wednesday.
Zippo's Circus and funfair supremo George Irvin are joining forces to provide traditional and contemporary rides and attractions inside and outside The O2 from Wednesday.
Zippos will bring The O2 alive with clowns, contortionists, stilt walkers and trick cyclists.
George Irvin's US-themed funfair will fill Peninsula Square on the approach to The O2 with a vintage-style carousel, Ferris wheel, helter skelter and other classic funfair amusements.
Inside the venue, thrill seekers can scream themselves hoarse on the waltzers, the twister and freak out rides, as well as dodgems, games and stalls.
The funfair and circus will be open from 12 noon on weekends and from 3pm on weekdays until June 14.
Free circus entertainment will be available only on the dates prior to Britney's shows at The O2.
