Chili's Grill & Bar at Cabot Place East has closed its doors. The restaurant is empty with a typed note on the window saying that the administrators have been called in to its parent company. It is believed that 50 jobs have been lost with the closure.

Chili's is owned by Hatfield Restaurants Ltd, a subsidiary of American conglomerate Brinker International Inc. The administration being conducted by MCR.

Other restaurants in the nationwide chain also closed earlier this week. In a statement, MCR said eight restaurants in the UK had folded and MCR was looking for buyers for the premises and the company's assets.

Have you been affected by the closure? Tell us your story.

RIP Chilis, the end of an era!

Used to be about the only 'normal' place to go on the Wharf, but started to look a bit tired an crap towards the end

Chili's Friday lunches were legendary. They should have been bailed out by the government. I'm absolutely devasted. The place will be missed. This is really sad news on par with Michael Jackson passing away. RIP Chili's. The world will never forget you.
