City Airport staff who worked alongside a swine flu victim have been given the all clear by their doctors.

A Travelex employee was diagnosed with the H1N1 sickness on Friday evening and has been off work since.

On Saturday his colleagues in the bureau de change office were advised to visit a GP as a precaution and all surfaces possibly infected were cleaned.

In the early hours of Wednesday they were passed fit by doctors.

A spokeswoman at the airport said she believes it is an "isolated case".

The member of staff had just returned from a trip to Wales, where he may have contracted the flu.

The airport spokewoman added: "The individual has been advised to stay at home whilst the rest of the family are being treated with anti-viral drugs as a precautionary measure."

Of course they have. What do you expect them to say. They've got a business to run. The only health and safety their worried about is how sick they'd be if they lost profits for the shareholders

Sounds plausible to me.
