From the director of Die Hard 2 comes 12 Rounds, starring John Cena as New Orleans detective Danny Fisher. When Fisher stops brilliant thief Miles from getting away with a multi-million-dollar heist, the thief's girlfriend is accidentally killed.

After escaping from prison, the criminal mastermind enacts his revenge, taunting Danny with a series of near-impossible puzzles and tasks - 12 rounds - that Danny must complete to save the life of his fiancée.

Ranging from tests of intelligence to tasks of endurance, Miles keeps Danny guessing at every turn.

For former WWE wrester John Cena, the movie is more than another role - it's his initiation into the realm of action movie star.

Cena said: "The '80s was the era of the 'everyman' hero. And there hasn't been that style of hero since then. Guys like Bruce Willis in Die Hard proved that an everyday person can be an action hero.

He said: "The whole everyman thing is easy, I'm just trying to be me. I like the fact that Danny struggles. He doesn't come out of a phone booth and stop bullets. When audiences see 12 Rounds and see Danny in action, I think every man, woman and child in the theatre can go, 'You know what, that's possible, and under the right circumstances, I can pull that off'."

Sam Raimi may be best known for his clean-cut Spiderman trilogy but his heart belongs to horror. He packed viscera and squirm into the low budge Evil Dead in 1981 but now he's got more money - so there's more blood for your buck.

Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) is an ambitious LA loan officer with a charming boyfriend, Clay Dalton (Justin Long).

Life is good until she rejects the mysterious Mrs Ganush's loan application. In retaliation, the old woman places the powerful curse on Christine, transforming her life into a living hell. Haunted by an evil spirit, she must think the unthinkable to free herself of the curse.

In this psychological thriller, Beyoncé Knowles stars as Sharon Charles, a smart young woman with a charmed life. She has a handsome husband, Derek (Idris Elba) and a sweet young son.

Then one day Derek meets a new temp at the office: Lisa (Ali Larter). Lisa soon starts showing an unhealthy interest in Derek to the point where she becomes hell bent on tearing Sharon's family apart to claim Derek for herself. Finally Sharon decides she's had enough and takes matters into her own hands.

What started as an office flirtation culminates in a shocking, no-holds-barred, violent and bloody standoff between two women.
