Tower Hamlets Police boast of crime success

Tower Hamlets Police force has revealed crime has fallen by 17 per cent across the borough in the last year.

It also claims it has the biggest reduction in burglary across all of London, with vehicle theft, robbery and gun crime all being brought down.

It adds 82.8 per cent of all domestic violence offenders were arrested at the scene.

A police spokeswoman said: "Tower Hamlets Police has made some of the biggest reductions in crime across London.

"We have also seen some of the highest number of offenders brought to justice for the most serious crimes."

Across London, police report crime fell by 3,178 offences.
