Preview: Tottenham v West Ham

WestHam.gifWest Ham head to White Hart Lane in good spirits for their crunch clash with Tottenham.

The Irons, currently seventh in the Premier League, could push Spurs out of contention for a European place next season if they win on Saturday.

Manager Gianfranco Zola will be aiming for a repeat of last Saturday's stylish win over Sunderland, when the Hammers produced some of their best football of the season.

Zola will again be reliant on some of his young stars to produce the goods, with Junior Stanislas pushing for another starting role after his performance against the Black Cats.

The 19-year-old will again be joined in the squad by fellow youngsters James Tomkins, Josh Payne, Freddie Sears and Savio Nsereko.

Jonathan Spector is ruled out after suffering concussion last weekend.

Scott Parker and Radoslav Kovac could both return to add some experience to the youthful line-up.

The Irons will be looking to avenge Spurs 2-0 win at Upton Park last December and last season's 4-0 capitulation at The Lane.

Victory would put clear space between the Hammers and their rivals in the chase for a UEFA Europa League place next season, and of course delight Irons fans desperate to get one over on their fiercest rivals.

Travel: Nearest Tube is Seven Sisters (Victoria Line). Fans should note the District Line is suspended between Embankment and Upminster all weekend.

On the trains, the East Anglia service between Stratford and Tottenham Hale is suspended for engineering works.
