The Isle of Dogs club beat Thames 53-20 to add the Shield to the Essex Division Two title and the Essex League Cup they had already secured.

A dominant Millwall display saw them brush aside their bigger opponents to record an emphatic win.

Millwall coach David Leftley was delighted to see his side clinch the treble, crowning their greatest-ever season.

He said: "That was absolutely fantastic. This has been a wonderful end to a dream season.

"I'm so proud of all the players. This has been a great effort all round and I commend them for their dedication and commitment."
