Welsh wizards will bring betting bonanza
Nigel Seeley - the Wizard of Odds - gives his top tips on where to place your bets on this week's sporting action.
This week there's some Welsh wizardry on the cards in the Six Nations rugby, while Guus Hiddink is likely to continue to cast his spell over Chelsea.
Last weekend we cheered from the rooftops after Liverpool's 4-1 defeat of Manchester United, and not because the title race was back in the running and United took a hammering.
It was because referee Alan Wiley brandished five yellow cards and one red card to reward "Place Your Bets" followers who had backed over four cards being shown at 4/5, arguably the best bet I have seen so far this year.
On Sunday we had little doubt England would beat France after they raced into a 29-0 half-time lead to again reward our loyal followers.
This weekend I've picked some pearlers to make sure our winning run continues.
First up is the Grand Slam showdown between Wales and Ireland in Cardiff. It's over 20 years since Ireland's last championship and that wait will end at the weekend.
But you have to go back to 1948 for the only time they have won a Grand Slam, and that wait will continue as Wales are too big at 10/11 for this one.
The Welsh have only shown in patches the form which saw them win their own Grand Slam last term.
They will be keen to do a number on the Irish as they have a slim chance of winning the championship if they outscore their opponents by 12 points, and I'm confident Wales will put in a winning performance.
This weekend's big Premier League match is between Tottenham and Chelsea at White Hart Lane.
Spurs have virtually secured their Premier League status but this is a proper test for them and the even money around for a Chelsea victory looks too big.
Guus Hiddink has a 100 per cent record in the Stamford Bridge hot-seat and the swagger is back on the Kings Road.
They are grinding results out with 1-0 wins, which was a winning formula under Jose Mourinho.
With the return to fitness of Michael Essein and the incredible sulk, Didier Drogba, playing and scoring this may not be a happy day for Harry.
Also, the Blues love playing at White Hart Lane, only losing once since 1988, and that record will be extended on Saturday.
2009 Running total: - £225
Suggested Bets
£40 Wales to beat Ireland in the Six Nations @ 10/11
