Jubilee line services to Canary Wharf were hit by suspension for the second consecutive working day.

Commuters were informed that a signaling fault prompted the temporary closure of the London Bridge to North Greenwich stretch. Morning services were also disrupted on Friday morning.

A TfL spokesperson said: "The Jubilee line was suspended between London Bridge and North Greenwich between 8:02am and 8:47am due to a signal failure at Canary Wharf.

"As a result, Bank station became too congested and had to be closed for about 20 minutes from 8:30am, which in turn meant that the Waterloo and City line had to close at the same time as it provides a shuttle service between Waterloo and Bank.

"Bank station closed again at 9.15am for about 20 minutes to again alleviate congestion.

"The Jubilee line is now operating with delays. We would like to apologise to our customers for any delays caused by this morning's problems."
