Charlton's clash against Bristol City looks to be one of the few to have survived wintery weather on Tuesday night's fixture list.

The 7.45pm match got the go-ahead just ahead midday when referee Kevin Friend gave the pitch the thumbs up.

Whether Addicks fans will be able to get out of snow-hit London and to Ashton Gate for the Championship match is another matter entirely.

Charlton will be looking to get back to winning ways following Burnley's injury time victory against them on Saturday.

The preparations will not be great for Phil Parkinson's side with training disrupted on Monday by snow flurries.

The manager will be hoping Mark Hudson returns to fitness. Also in defence, Kelly Youga is out with suspension.

Parkinson will have to decide whether to recall Jonjo Shelvey, Darren Ambrose or - fit again - Therry Racon to the midfield.

Meanwhile, in attack, Chris Dickson, Deon Burton and Tresa Kandol are fighting for selection.
