Preview: West Ham v Fulham

WestHam.gifWest Ham are back at the Boleyn on Sunday afternoon and will be looking to extend their four match unbeaten run.

Fulham provide the opposition and the game should see the return of former Hammers' favourites Bobby Zamora, Paul Konchesky and John Pantsil to their old club.

West Ham have been active in the transfer market again this week, although it saw another player leaving the club.

Kyel Reid joined Championship pace-setters Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday on loan until the end of the season.

The Irons are continuing to resist overtures from Manchester City for Craig Bellamy and have also reacted angrily to reports linking skipper Lucas Neill with Newcastle.

Manager Gianfranco Zola will be keen to build on last week's 2-2 draw at Newcastle, but will not underestimate a Fulham side who have also enjoyed a good recent run of form.

Hammers fans will no doubt give a warm welcome to Zamora and Pantsil, who moved across London last summer.

But West Ham goalkeeping coach Ludek Miklosko warned this week about the dangers of former players returning to their old stamping grounds.

He said: "For the boys who are playing for them and used to play for us it's always a funny game.

"Normally when a player moves to another club they score and they play quite well because they want to show they are good players.

"For us it's another game and we have a great opportunity to get three points but we know Fulham are doing very well.

"They have had a good run and are playing well and it will be very difficult to beat them.

"But we are playing at home and I think from the performances we have shown in the last few games we should get the three points, but we know it won't be an easy game."

It should be an entertaining game in front of the Sky cameras and a repeat of last season's 2-1 win for the Hammers would satisfy the home fans.

Spectators travelling to Sunday's game should be aware of work on the Underground which may affect their journeys.

The District line will be closed between Upminster and Barking and the Hammersmith and City Line will be closed between Edgware Road and Barking.
