Cole the goal is Wizard's outside bet

NigelSeeley125WEB.jpgNigel Seeley - the Wizard of Odds - gives his tips on where to place your bets and this week he backs Millwall in the Cup and Carlton Cole to upset the odds in the Premier League scoring stakes.

Last week the Wizard was away but I would have strongly tipped Arsenal to beat Hull.

Harry Hindsight is a great thing and my words of wisdom for the rest of the season ring true - avoid Hull City like the plague.

Phil Brown's men were awful again as they were hammered 3-1 by Arsenal, their fifth defeat in six games.

With just two wins in 15 matches they are as short as 11/4 with the bookmakers to be relegated, which looks a good bet.

On Saturday they entertain Millwall at the KC Stadium in the FA Cup.

Expect a second string Hull line-up and the bookies look to have underrated Millwall by quoting them at 15/2 for victory.

Millwall are on a great run with just one defeat in 13. Confidence is high at the Den and they travel north expecting to get a result.

Another struggling Premier League team is Middlesbrough and they could be beaten by Championship leaders Wolves at Molineux.

Boro face a serious relegation battle and survival will be number one on their list of priorities so I expect a number of their big players will not make the trip.

Wolves at home are too good to be opposed especially at 6/4 with the bookies.

West Ham striker Carlton Cole is a massive price each-way at 250/1 to be the Premier League top goalscorer. Stop laughing and hear me out.

Cole, touted as a future England international in his early career at Chelsea, has not lived up to the expectation. But he is a massive confidence player and five goals in five games sees him virtually impossible to play against.

Nicolas Anelka currently sits three clear at the top of the charts with 14 but there are a whole host of players between the seven and nine mark.

Cole has seven and with bookies paying out a 1/4 the odds 1,2,3 at 66/1 he makes the top three he is a massive price.

Running total = -£95

Suggested bets:

£20 Millwall to beat Hull @ 15/2

£20 Wolves to beat Middlesbrough @ 6/4

£5 e/w Carlton Cole top Premier League goalscorer @ 250/1
