Charlton 1 Palace 0

Victory was sweet - if a long time overdue - as Charlton beat Crystal Palace 1-0 in a tense Championship clash at The Valley.
It may have been Charlton's first win in 20 league matches but the home fans were delighted to have secured it against south London rivals Palace.
The first real chance of the match fell to Matthew Spring following a near post cross from Lloyd Sam.
However, the new signing couldn't make proper contact and Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni gathered the loose ball.
On 14 minutes it was the same combination, but with different consequences. Sam's left-footed cross caused chaos in the Palace area and Spring made no mistake as he blasted home from eight yards out.
Palace's first real chance came on 42 minutes when a cross fell to Nick Carle, but he fired over from 15 yards.
Moments later Clint Hill headed just wide of Rob Elliot's post from another right-wing cross.
Palace enjoyed the majority of possession in the early stages of the second half but couldn't put together a real chance.
Meanwhile, Charlton could only launch aimless balls forward which Andy Gray and Deon Burton were struggling to hold on to.
Chris Dickson replaced Gray and his first piece of action saw him flick the ball on to Burton whose shot was well saved.
Straight up the other end Palace substitute Victor Moses went through but his shot was well saved by the feet of Elliot.
Dickson then got booked for dissent. Referee Stuart Attwell was gradually losing control of the game causing even the Charlton fans to chant "you're not fit to referee".
Dickson's next involvement saw him hold the ball by the touchline.
But while the two Palace defenders expected him to hold the ball in the corner, Dickson showed great composure to cut through them and cross for Burton, who was inches away from doubling the lead.
Attwell further angered the Charlton fans by finding five minutes injury time.
The seconds were ticking by but under heavy pressure the Charlton defence, including Matt Holland who came on at centre-back for the injured Jon Fortune after an hour, held out for a deserved three points.
