Phil Parkinson's side head up north to Blackpool on Saturday with revenge in mind.

Charlton crashed to an embarrassing 5-3 defeat in last season's fixture at Bloomfield Road and the Addicks' caretaker manager expects a fight this time from his troops.

He said: "It's going to be windy and cold and we've got to make sure we've got 11 players who are up for the battle.

"There's an old saying that goes 'you have to earn the right to play football', and that's what we'll be saying to the lads on Saturday."

The Addicks are likely to keep the same back four as the last match against Southampton, which saw their first clean sheet in 13 games.

That will mean loan players Jay McEveley and Martin Cranie start at full-back with Jonathan Fortune and Mark Hudson in the centre.

Midfielder Therry Racon is still out, so Parkinson will have to choose between keeping Nicky Bailey in the side, or bringing in Matt Holland, Josh Wright or Jonjo Shelvey.

Meanwhile up front, Andy Gray looks to have recovered from a slight hamstring injury to partner Deon Burton up front.

Blackpool's 2-1 win at Plymouth Argyle last weekend ended a four match losing run.

Kick off: 3pm

Tickets: £26 plus concessions, will be available on the door.
