Kings Of Leon, The O2 arena
This year has been a good one for the Kings of Leon, with their No. 1 album, Only By The Night, hailed as their “crowning achievement by critics.
The band, made up of Tennessee brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, and their cousin, Matthew Followill, have been around for five years, building up an ever-growing army of fans across the globe.
The band’s classic American rock music style is sure to go down well in a large venue like The O2, given their arena experience.
As well as touring with previous album Because Of The Times, they opened for U2 in 2005 and Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam in 2006 and 2008.
Expect a night of anthemic rock music, including the hugely successful hit Sex On Fire and the new single Use Somebody.

Jingle Bell Ball, The O2 arena
If you like the idea of a decadent party with a host of household names appearing, then the Jingle Bell Ball may be right up your street.
Hosted by 95.8 Capital FM, London’s original music station, on December 10 at The O2, this special event will gather together The Pussycat Dolls, Boyzone, Will Young, The Sugababes, Lemar, Craig David, Anastacia and Rihanna under one roof – and many more besides.
The vast size of the arena should really play into party-goers’ hands with the possibility of an electrifying atmosphere that will build as the night goes on.
And with such an impressive line-up, there’s something special for everyone.
So for back-to-back entertainment throughout the evening and a spectacular show from start to finish, revellers will probably find they don’t even want to go home at the end.

AWOL, Indigo2
If you were one of the unlucky 500 people turned away at their August event at Indigo2, you will be pleased to know that AWOL are back once more to present the pioneers of jungle music.
AWOL’s next night features a line-up of drum and bass legends, a celebration of those who contributed to the original development of the genre in the heady days of the ’80s and ’90s, when DJs would battle to break new ground and push for new sounds.
Besides AWOL’s own DJs, the line-up includes the legendary Grooverider, who is widely viewed as “the godfather of drum and bass and is the popular co-host of a BBC Radio 1 show.
His sidekick Fabio will also be appearing, and they will be joined by Randall, Kenny Ken, DR S Gachet, Darren Jay, Ash Attack, Mcs, Fearless, Moose and Flux.
