Credit Suisse to shed 650 jobs

Credit Suisse became the latest Canary Wharf bank to slash jobs when they announced 650 roles would go at its UK operations.
The Switzerland-based company made the announcement of cuts, which represents three per cent of its workforce, on Tuesday.
The Credit Suisse job losses will mainly be in the investment banking side of the business, although it is yet to break down the exact figures.
It comes just a day after HSBC revealed its plans to lose 500 jobs, a large chunk of which will be at its Canary Wharf base at 8 Canada Square.
