Monday morning disruption for DLR

WEEKEND maintenance on the Docklands Light Railway has spilled into Monday morning, disrupting key lines on the network.

Commuters were forced to find alternative routes to work after scheduled works over-ran at Westferry. The problem affected lines between Bank and Canary Wharf and between Poplar and Canary Wharf.

Many lines were closed over the weekend as part of the DLR's expansion to three-car trains, with several weekend closures planned over the next two years.
