Celebs on the trading floor

IT'S only a week since the transfer window closed but Sir Alex Ferguson was back on the phones today closing big money deals.

The Manchester United manager was one of over 100 celebrities at the BGC event on Thursday, September 11.
The annual event is used by the bank's employees to remember US colleagues killed in the 2001 terror attacks on the Twin Towers in New York.
Traders at the bank at One Churchill Place give up their commission for a day and allow celebs the chance to close multi-million pound deals.
The commision is then shared among about 20 charities.
Sir Alex, who was representing the Multiple Sclerosis Society, was joined by a host of stars including singer Beverley Knight and model Jodie Kidd.
