The Wharf's 4:30pm travel update

DLR? No problems reported at 4:30pm.
River? Good service reported.
Roads? Problems westbound at Stepney and on the Old Kent Road at Rotherhithe due to roadworks.
The threat of a major strike may have receded, but Bank Holiday works may still make journeys tricky this weekend.
The Jubilee line will be suspended between North Greenwich and Stratford for maintenance on Sunday and Monday, with a limited bus replacement service.
Disruption on the DLR this Bank Holiday is again down to the long-term improvement works on the network.
The stretch between Canary Wharf and Lewisham will be suspended on Sunday and Monday, as will the line between Stratford and West India Quay.
But Monday will herald the last day of the two-month spell of reduced services between Lewisham and Crossharbour.
Cleaners at Eurostar are expected to walk out in a wage dispute on Bank Holiday Monday, but the international rail service has assured passengers the timetable will not be disrupted.
London City Airport has said it would not be affected by the planned Bank Holiday Monday walkout by baggage handling and check-in firm Swissport.
Around 500 staff are likely to strike over pay, with a further 24-hour strike expected next Friday.
The announcement has sparked fears of delays and queues at Gatwick and Stansted airports, but this could work in London City Airport’s favour as holidaymakers take advantage of the tail end of summer.
City employs its own in-house handling teams, and may be welcoming extra passengers, frustrated by problems at other airports as the impact of the strike becomes clear.
