Stereophonics announce O2 date

STEREOPHONICS have been confirmed as the latest act in The O2's winter line-up.

The Welsh rockers will end their greatest hits tour at The O2 arena on Saturday, December 20.

Over the past 12 years the band have notched up a string of hits, including "Have a Nice Day", "Maybe Tomorrow" and "Handbags and Gladrags". The tour will promote their new album "Decade in the Sun: The Best of the Stereophonics".

They also have the distinction of being England footballer Wayne Rooney's favourite band, with the Manchester United star even going as far as having a lyric from one the band's songs tattooed on his arm earlier this year.
