WestHamBOX.gifWEST Ham will spend their Bank Holiday weekend in sunny Manchester where they take on Mark Hughes' City side on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers will be looking for their first away win of the season and their first win on City's home patch since April 2003.

Scott Parker is doubtful after picking up a thigh strain in last Saturday's 2-1 win over Wigan.

Striker Dean Ashton has responded to treatment for the cramp that ruled him out of England's game against the Czech Republic and should be available.

Defender Anton Ferdinand is still out with a hamstring problem, although he is still rumoured to be on his way to Sunderland in an £8million deal.

James Collins and Nigel Quashie both featured in a hastily arranged friendly against Queen's Park Rangers on Tuesday afternoon but neither are expected to play in Manchester.

Danny Gabbidon, James Tomkins, George McCartney, Keiron Dyer, Craig Bellamy and Jonathan Spector are all ruled out with injury.

City, looking to kick-start their season, will be without new forward Jo, who is on Olympic duty with Brazil, and suspended centre-back Richard Dunne.
