YOUNG film-makers beat the clock to create their own documentary in Canary Wharf.

The estate was the backdrop for a two-day crash course in storyboarding and filming, run in association with the Canary Wharf film festival and Blue Sky Media.

Participants created a short piece exploring the creative and commercial aspects of Canary Wharf as part of an Apprentice-style challenge.

A group of East London students received advice from a media panel on day one, before heading out into the business metropolis a day later.

The result will be screened during the second-year film festival, which runs from August 28 until September 1. A special achievement award will be handed out to one member of the group during the awards night on the final evening.
