AS MANY as 10,000 film fans will flood into The O2 for the UK’s biggest ever premiere.

Stars such as Liam Neeson have been lined up to attend tonight’s (Thursday) screening of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, which will raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Technicians have installed a giant cinema screen in the 10,000 capacity arena, allowing a record number of people to witness the movie at the same time.

The event is part of Disney’s pledge to help the hospital raise £10million.

Prince Caspian is the second film in director Andrew Adamson’s adaptation of CS Lewis’ books. The first film The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe took $750million at the box office. The high-profile launch event is expected to attract stars from the film including Ben Barnes, Anna Popplewell, William Moseley, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley.

The film will launch in UK cinemas on June 26.
