This is Amy Giles – one of the fittest girls in Canary Wharf.

The 27-year-old works at the Power Studio at 41 Millharbour, where she’s had Wharfers flocking in for power plate training sessions.

Amy originally studied to be a dancer but a back injury meant she couldn’t pursue that career, so she retrained as a power plate instructor.

Dancing’s loss is the fitness world’s gain and Amy, who hails from Tunbridge Wells, is a big fan of the device that’s revolutionised the way we keep fit.

“I love using the power plate, she said. “It’s a great way to keep fit if you’re pushed for time, but the benefits are as good as spending hours in the gym.

When she’s not getting a buzz from her day job Amy likes nothing better than getting away to the country for the weekend, where her fitness training stands her in good stead for those long walks.
