Another great week with a second successive 100 per cent score for the Wizard.

This week’s sporting action focuses on the US Masters golf, which starts at the Augusta National Club today (April 10).

Punters are asking if anybody can stop Tiger Woods and can you honestly back him at odds of 5/4
to win? Tiger, bidding for his fifth Masters title, goes into the competition as the shortest priced favourite in Masters’ history and is without doubt at the top of his game.

But if 5/4 shots in 90+ fields isn’t your bag, then look no further than Aussie Geoff Ogilvy – each-way at a very tempting 33/1.

Ogilvy ended Tiger’s winning streak at the World Golf Championships in March and won the 2006 US Open. He’s certainly a player on the up. Most bookmakers offer odds of 8/1 that he finishes in the top five so he rates a major bet.

The Premier League hots up this week with the best value betting with the basement boys.

Birmingham entertain Everton. A Birmingham win will virtually guarantee them Premier League football next season and at odds of 2/1 to beat Everton they look over-priced.

Birmingham’s current home record is the reason why they aren’t already doomed to Championship football, with just one defeat in 10 matches.

Reading also look to be one win away from safety and they should get that against Fulham at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.

The Royals have a fantastic home record with eight wins, more than Blackburn and Portsmouth, so how can they be even money to beat a team without an away win all season?

Bookies believe the Cottagers’ need is greater but a team which has failed to beat Derby and Sunderland in their last two matches, and with just one win in eight, can’t be trusted with anyone’s hard-earned, no matter how much they need to win.

(RUNNING TOTAL +£79.34)

Recommended Bets: £5 e/w Geoff Ogilvy – 33/1 the US Masters
£10 Birmingham to beat Everton @ 2/1
£10 Reading to beat Fulham @ Evens
